The passengers who fled on lifeboats spent at least two hours in the freezing before Carpathia managed to arrive. And, as already mentioned, many of the lifeboats were sparsely filled and there was room for more passengers.
22. Lifeboats at Pier 54
After the passengers were safely brought back to the Pier 54 in New York City, all the lifeboats were left empty. This pier actually belonged to the White Star Lines.

Titanic was well equipped with many luxurious amenities including a gym. Along with its sister ship Olympic, Titanic was the first ocean liner to include a gym. Other amenities that were present are a swimming pool, a squash court, and even a Turkish bath.
